Julie Pitzen is an artist, teacher, former museum professional and archaeologist. She worked in the Anthropology and Public Programming divisions of the Field Museum in Chicago. She has lived and worked in Mongolia on and off since 2006 where she also taught ESL for ten years. She has experience as an English editor on a number of textbooks and publications including NatGeo Mongolia, the UB Post and an English-Mongolian dictionary. She was also one of the first TV English news announcers in Mongolia for TV25.
